We are looking for a Community Manager to join our growing team. What is a Community Manager? Glad you asked. Ultimately, you should be able to act as the face and voice of our brand and manage all community communications. If you are a tech-savvy professional, experienced in social media, PR and promotional events, and are great at building relationships, we want you to join our team. And if you don’t have those skills but you're willing & able to learn quickly we'd still like to meet you.


Our ideal candidate wants to work hard in a laidback startup culture and have their voice help shape the direction of the brand. S/he has a sense of humor combined with an exceptional work ethic. Oh yeah, along with oral and written communication skills and is able to develop engaging content in an authentic voice. You should be a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community. Bonus points if you are comfortable being in front of the camera but not necessary.


  • Set and implement social media and communication (email & SMS) campaigns to align with marketing strategies
  • Develop a content marketing plan and editorial calendar
  • Assist with content strategy, photoshoots
  • Create engaging and sharable text, image and video content for social media accounts, blogs, email & SMS channels
  • Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
  • Organize & distribute marketing assets for sales teams across international and domestic distributors, retail partners, & internal marketing channels
  • Plan and execute community initiatives and programs that build brand awareness and loyalty
  • Monitor organic social media campaigns and analyze web traffic from the online community using key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Consolidate monthly reports of community feedback to the management team and stakeholders
  • Coordinate with Marketing & Management teams to ensure consistency in brand voice and positioning across all marketing channels
  • Manage Retail sales, education, & execution to ensure consistent product knowledge and brand voice are delivered to customers
  • Liaise with Development and Sales departments to stay updated on new products and features
  • Build relationships with customers, potential customers, distributors, industry professionals, affiliates and influencers
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends and platforms
  • Find new marketing and outreach opportunities to push brand image and products

Requirements & Skills

  • Proven work experience as a community manager (not required but a solid plus)
  • Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g. repeat customers, customer trends)
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Design experience a plus
  • Hands on experience with social media management for brands
  • Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
  • Knowledge of online and offline marketing and marketing channels
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
